We are Philip & Judith Schoen of Mahopac NY (a little over an hour north of New York City). We live in an old farm house (built in the 1880's) with our two boston terriers, Cole and Edgar, and two cats, Josie and Gimlet.
We started to get into wine in college (we both went to Lehigh University) and over the last few years have really been into New York State wine, specifically those from the Finger Lake Region. At the Hudson Valley Wine Festival held this past September, we even had the chance to work for one of our favorite vineyards, McGregor.
We started making our own wine a few years ago and hope to eventually make a career out of it.
